6 mm plywood sheet with painted edges and underside, cut to size.
This is the solution to fitting a stone tabletop to a steel base. The plywood sub-top acts as a large surface area to which the stone is adhered. Need adhesive too? See the accessories category.
Add this listing and your desired table base to your cart and purchase them simultaneously. We'll cut the plywood to the exact size of the table base, screw the ply in place and ship them together.
Please note, for Extra-Heavy Table Bases, please select 2 plywood subtops (One per frame)

We cut the ply to size and fix it to the base using a set of screws.
You apply the adhesive to the up facing side of the plywood, carefully place stone tabletop in situ and leave to set.
