This is the solution to fitting a stone tabletop to a steel base. The plywood sub-top acts as a large surface area to which the stone is adhered. Need to buy adhesive too? See Add-ons category.
Add this listing and your desired table base to your cart and purchase them simultaneously. We'll cut the plywood to the exact size of the table base, screw the ply in place and ship them together.

We cut the ply to size and fix it to the base using a set of screws.
You apply the adhesive to the up facing side of the plywood, carefully place stone tabletop in situ and leave to set.
