Need a little help?
Q: Do you offer custom sizes?A: Yes. We're proud to offer bespoke sizes to suit your space and style. We're also happy to accommodate your bespoke requests - please contact us to discuss your plans.
Q: I would like to use stone as a tabletop, do I require table legs or a table base?
A: A table base. Stone and glass work surfaces are often fragile and must be supported as much as possible. We would only ever recommend a table base for this application. Table bases offer far greater strength and support compared to stand-alone table legs.
Q: I have a stone/glass table top, what size table base do I need?
Seating along the two longest sides only
1A: The size of the table base is often determined by the intended seating plan. If chairs are to be seated under the two longest sides of the table only, the base should be as near to the full length of the table top as possible.
Example: table top length = 200cm. Base length should be between 180 to 200cm.
Seating along all four sides
2A: If chairs are to be seated under all four sides of the table, the base length should be reduced to allow chairs to be placed under all sides without interference. Depending on the thickness of your stone/glass work surface, generally speaking, these have a maximum overhang allowance of 30 cm at any one side. If you require any help or advice, please contact us.
Example: stone/glass table top length = 200cm. Base length should be between 140 to 150cm.

A: Yes, 100%. All of our products are carefully and expertly handcrafted in our East Yorkshire based workshop close to the cities of Hull and York. By purchasing through us, you're not only putting an enormous smile on our faces, but you're also supporting a small business with big aspirations.
Q: How do I care for my steel?A: Caring for your steel is easy. Dust with a microfiber cloth on a daily basis. To remove unwanted dirt, rub with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
Q: Do you offer discount?
A: No. Since our launch in 2017, we've run very few promotional events, in fact, non since 2018. Unlike corporate furniture retailers, we operate a tight-margin transparent pricing scheme all year round which we believe helps to ensure a fair price for everybody at all times.
Q: Would the steel rust over time if I left it bare/uncoated?
A: Yes. Uncoated steel would eventually show signs of oxidation. Rust is another name for iron oxide, which occurs when iron or an alloy that contains iron, like steel, is exposed to oxygen and moisture for a long period of time.
If you prefer the raw industrial style without progressive rust, you should choose the clear lacquer option. This will prolong the life of the steel whilst retaining the industrial look.
Alternatively, a powder-coated surface will be more resistant against oxidation, scratches, chipping, wear, and fading compared to other types of finishes.
Q: Processing time & deliveryA: The estimated delivery date is based on your purchase date, the recipient's location, our (the sellers) processing time, and the chosen courier. Other factors — like placing an order on a weekend or a bank holiday — may end up pushing the arrival of your item beyond the estimated delivery date.
It's our hope that your item gets where it's going as soon as possible, but given the factors involved, this is only an estimate. We endeavour to keep you, as the customer, well informed with regards to production updates and an accurate dispatch date once your order(s) are being finalised.
Q: Once my item(s) have been dispatched, how long does delivery take?Delivery times are country-specific and may vary depending on the item.
Generally, UK deliveries are next-day. For Europe, 2-3 working days. For the rest of the world, please allow 3-7 working days.
In some cases, items could be delayed at the border for security checks. Providing necessary contact information such as a contact number may help avoid delays.
Q: Do you offer custom powder coated colours?A: Yes, we are able to offer any colour from the RAL range.
